Comprehensive Considerations in Piping System Design

The piping design must account for various factors such as expansion and contraction, static and dynamic loads on the piping, all of which will impact the structural steel framing system of the building. Additionally, we should consider access requirements for expansion joints and inspection of anchors and guides post-construction. Fire stopping measures between the pipe and sleeves at rated penetrations, and, if necessary, seismic restraints for piping systems and Pumps should also be incorporated. Regular periodic inspections are advised for these components after the building is completed.
